Erasmus+ projekt: Living in a Digital Age

Skupaj soustvarjamo prihodnost digitalne dobe.

Med letoma 2023 in 2025 je Gimnazija Lava (Šolski center Celje) izvajala mednarodni projekt Erasmus+ Living in a Digital Age v okviru akcije KA121-SCH, ki je vključeval štiri skupinske mobilnosti dijakov in učiteljev v sodelovanju s partnerskimi šolami iz Italije (Foggia), Španije (Sevilla), Nemčije (Stuttgart) in Slovenije (Celje).

V projektu je sodelovalo 72 dijakov, starih 16 let, in 24 učiteljev – po 18 dijakov in 6 učiteljev iz vsake sodelujoče države.

Osrednji cilj projekta je bil krepitev digitalnih kompetenc, kritičnega mišljenja, podjetnosti, medijske pismenosti in medkulturnega dialoga. S projektom smo se odzvali na potrebe sodobnega časa, ki zahteva suvereno, odgovorno in ustvarjalno rabo digitalnih tehnologij tako pri učenju kot v vsakdanjem življenju.

Vsebinska izhodišča in tematska področja

Skozi vse štiri mobilnosti so dijaki raziskovali različne vidike digitalne dobe:

  • odgovorno uporabo digitalnih tehnologij ter ravnovesje med digitalnim in analognim svetom
  • umetno inteligenco in novo zakonodajo EU (AI Act)
  • medijsko pismenost, prepoznavanje lažnih novic in preverjanje virov
  • uporabo digitalnih orodij pri pouku ter refleksijo o njihovi učinkovitosti
  • kulturno identiteto v digitalnem okolju tudi skozi ohranjanje običajev in digitalno pripovedovanje zgodb

Dijaki so pri tem spoznavali različne aplikacije in digitalna orodja ter jih ustvarjalno uporabljali v učnih in projektnih kontekstih.

Izvedene aktivnosti in metode dela

Projekt je temeljil na sodelovalnem, medpredmetnem in problemsko naravnanem pristopu. Dijaki so delali v mednarodnih skupinah, ustvarjali digitalne vsebine, sodelovali v diskusijah in predstavitvah ter nadgrajevali svoje komunikacijske in socialne veščine.

Med najodmevnejšimi aktivnostmi so bile:

  • interaktivne delavnice o UI in medijski pismenosti (Sevilla, Stuttgart)
  • raziskava o digitalnih navadah mladih (Foggia)
  • delavnica o zakonodaji EU glede umetne inteligence z gostom z JRC Sevilla dr. Vincenzom Cardarellijem
  • obisk nemške nacionalne televizije SWR in intervju z novinarji
  • izmenjava digitalnih velikonočnih običajev ter ustvarjanje digitalnega časovnega traku tradicionalnih navad
  • virtualne in AR-ekskurzije v Italiji, Španiji, Nemčiji in Sloveniji s pomočjo mobilnih aplikacij
  • mini hackathon: zasnova digitalnih rešitev za izzive prihodnosti
  • video delavnica »Moj digitalni dan«
  • snemanje in montaža zaključnega videa z utrinki vseh mobilnosti
  • ustvarjanje interaktivnega digitalnega zemljevida s QR-kodami in refleksijami
  • evalvacija z orodjem Mentimeter in digitalna časovna kapsula, v kateri so dijaki zapisali vizije digitalne prihodnosti

Poudarki iz posameznih mobilnosti

Foggia (Italija): dijaki so raziskovali pogostost in namen uporabe digitalnih naprav ter predstavili digitalno oblikovane kulturne značilnosti držav. Izbran je bil logotip slovenskega dijaka Vala Jeriča.

Sevilla (Španija): osrednja tema je bila umetna inteligenca in z njo povezana zakonodaja EU (AI Act). Dijaki so analizirali zakonodajo, predstavili ključne člene in razpravljali o vplivu UI v šolstvu, zdravstvu in gospodarstvu.

Stuttgart (Nemčija): mobilnost je bila osredotočena na prepoznavanje lažnih novic in razumevanje vloge medijev. Dijaki so ustvarili lastne primere novic, razpravljali o manipulaciji z informacijami in obiskali televizijsko hišo SWR.

Celje (Slovenija): zaključna mobilnost je zajemala refleksijo celotnega projekta. Dijaki so ustvarili zaključni video, predstavili digitalna orodja, analizirali spletno in analogno učenje ter izvedli ustvarjalne in medgeneracijske delavnice s sodobnimi digitalnimi pristopi.

Pedagoški pristop in pridobljene kompetence

Projekt Living in a Digital Age je bil zasnovan kot učni prostor mobilnosti, kjer so se prepletale vsebine različnih predmetnih področij (informatika, družboslovje, jezik, umetnost) in ključne kompetence sodobnega časa.

Dijaki so:

  • okrepili digitalne spretnosti (orodja, vsebinska ustvarjalnost, evalvacija)
  • razvijali kritično mišljenje in sposobnost presojanja virov
  • izboljšali komunikacijo v angleškem jeziku in javno nastopanje
  • nadgradili kulturno občutljivost in sodelovanje v mednarodnem okolju
  • spoznali odgovorno in ustvarjalno rabo tehnologije

Učitelji so skozi mobilnosti pridobili novo znanje o metodah dela v mednarodnih skupinah, uporabi IKT v pouku ter prenosu evropskih tem v učni proces.

Zaključek: trajni vpliv in skupni uspeh

Projekt je pustil pomemben pečat na naši šolski skupnosti. Okrepil je zavedanje o pomenu digitalne pismenosti, ustvarjalnosti, sodelovanja in evropskega povezovanja. Predvsem pa je pokazal, da lahko mladi – z ustreznim mentorstvom in mednarodnimi izkušnjami – aktivno soustvarjajo prihodnost, ki temelji na znanju, povezovanju in odgovorni rabi tehnologije.

 

 

 

Erasmus+ Project: Living in a Digital Age

Together, we co-create the future of the digital age.

Between 2023 and 2025, Gimnazija Lava (Secondary School Centre Celje) implemented the international Erasmus+ project Living in a Digital Age under action KA121-SCH, involving four group mobilities of students and teachers in collaboration with partner schools from Italy (Foggia), Spain (Seville), Germany (Stuttgart), and Slovenia (Celje).

The project involved 72 students aged 16 and 24 teachers – 18 students and 6 teachers from each participating country.

The main goal of the project was to strengthen digital competences, critical thinking, entrepreneurship, media literacy, and intercultural dialogue. The project addressed the demands of modern times, calling for confident, responsible, and creative use of digital technologies in both learning and everyday life.

Topical Framework and Thematic Areas

During all four mobilities, students explored various aspects of the digital age:

  • responsible use of digital technologies and balance between the digital and analog world
  • artificial intelligence and new EU legislation (AI Act)
  • media literacy, recognizing fake news, and verifying sources
  • using digital tools in the classroom and reflecting on their effectiveness
  • cultural identity in the digital environment through the preservation of traditions and digital storytelling

Students explored various applications and digital tools and applied them creatively in learning and project-based contexts.

Implemented Activities and Working Methods

The project followed a collaborative, interdisciplinary, and problem-oriented approach. Students worked in international groups, created digital content, participated in discussions and presentations, and developed their communication and social skills.

The most impactful activities included:

  • interactive workshops on AI and media literacy (Seville, Stuttgart)
  • research on digital habits of young people (Foggia)
  • workshop on EU AI legislation with guest from JRC Seville, Dr. Vincenzo Cardarelli
  • visit to German national television SWR and interviews with journalists
  • exchange of digital Easter customs and creation of a digital timeline of traditions
  • virtual and AR excursions in Italy, Spain, Germany, and Slovenia via mobile apps
  • mini hackathon: designing digital solutions for future challenges
  • video workshop “My Digital Day”
  • filming and editing a final video showcasing all mobilities
  • creation of an interactive digital map with QR codes and reflections
  • evaluation via Mentimeter and a digital time capsule with students’ visions of the digital future

Highlights from Each Mobility

Foggia (Italy): students explored the frequency and purpose of digital device use and presented digital cultural representations of the countries. The winning logo was created by Slovenian student Val Jerič.

Seville (Spain): the main topic was artificial intelligence and the related EU AI Act. Students analysed the legislation, presented key articles, and discussed AI’s impact on education, healthcare, and the economy.

Stuttgart (Germany): focused on detecting fake news and understanding the media’s role. Students created news samples, discussed information manipulation, and visited SWR television.

Celje (Slovenia): the final mobility focused on project reflection. Students created a final video, presented tools, analysed online and offline learning, and held creative, intergenerational workshops with digital methods.

Educational Approach and Acquired Competences

The Living in a Digital Age project was designed as a learning space within mobilities, integrating content from various disciplines (ICT, social sciences, languages, arts) and modern key competences.

Students:

  • strengthened digital skills (tools, content creation, evaluation)
  • developed critical thinking and source evaluation
  • improved English communication and public speaking
  • enhanced cultural sensitivity and international collaboration
  • learned responsible and creative use of technology

Teachers gained new insights into international group work, integrating ICT into teaching, and embedding European topics into the curriculum.

Conclusion: Lasting Impact and Shared Success

The project made a significant impact on our school community. It increased awareness of the importance of digital literacy, creativity, collaboration, and European integration. Most importantly, it showed that with proper mentoring and international experience, young people can actively shape a future based on knowledge, connection, and the responsible use of technology.
